Silk Brocade Evening Jacket
A one of a kind silk brocade evening jacket with dramatic sleeves trimmed in faux fur.
The fabric is a blue grey silk brocade embroidered with pale pink dragons. The jacket has been trimmed with pink faux fur which beautifully accents any complexion, and has a magenta silk lining and three large hooks and eyes for closure.
It is a size small (4 - 6).
I love the sleeves on this jacket. I came across the fabric and immediately knew I had to make a jacket and I wanted it to have an old Hollywood glamour feel to it. I was thinking of Myrna Loy as Nora Charles in the Thin Man series as I designed the jacket and I tried a couple of different cuts for the sleeves until I settled on the final version.
It's truly a fun coat. A special event jacket where you can rock the sleeves all night long.
